IT'S NEVER "JUST A PET".

Pet Loss & Anticipatory Bereavement Support

For those of us who consider our pets family members, best friends, fur "kids" and emotional support companions, the loss of a pet, or finding out about an impending loss is one of the most difficult experiences we will ever go through. In many cases, it can be harder than losing a person in your life because the relationship with our pets is so pure and constant, and they give us nothing but unconditional love and acceptance. In this world of growing isolation and mental health struggles, our pets often become our primary source of comfort and safety. They love us and are there for us no matter what.

If you are struggling with the loss of an animal companion or an ill or senior pet who is in their final chapter of life, I am here to help. Through individual support meetings, you will find the compassion, understanding and resources you need to survive this difficult experience and move through grief toward healing. Most of all, you will know that you are not alone.
